T2S Solutions, LLC, a veteran owned small business, currently has an opening for an Engineer, Senior to join our team in Edgewood, Maryland.  Postion will support the US Army Chemical Materials Activity Recovered Chemical Materiel Directorate (CMA RCMD), responsible for providing centralized management and direction to the DoD for the assessment and disposal of recovered chemical weapon materiel and other chemical disposal missions in a safe, environmentally sound and cost-effective manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development.
  • Integrate as part of a diverse team responsible for assisting RCMD by providing:
    • Technical analysis
    • Program management
    • Mission and operational support
  • Leverage complete knowledge and application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field and employ general knowledge of other related disciplines
  • Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, ensuring solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
    • Determine and recommend an approach to solutions independently
  • Use chemical expertise to support multi-disciplinary team efforts for operations and RDT&E of related systems
    • Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects
    • Represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
  • Analyze client needs to develop and implement technical solutions
    • Produce clear, concise technical writing, proposals, and reports
    • Conduct analysis of alternative and technical risk management

Required Qualifications:
  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience (chemical engineering, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and chemical biological defense technology) 
  • At least 5 years of experience working within the chemical demilitarization program or recovery operations 
  • Experience with the RCMD mission, destruction technologies, and equipment 
  • Experience with systems engineering 
  • Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training 
  • Knowledge of analytical methods, test and evaluation procedures, laboratory operations, data analysis, and presentation 
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office and open source science resources
  • Ability to analyze, condense, and summarize complex technical data in succinct technical documents
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting
